Stats & Resets
How does the Grand Tree work, and how do you spend Glory Points?
The Grand Tree has 16 upgrades across 4 categories, each up to level 50, all competing for the same Glory Points.
The Grand Tree is where you spend the Glory Points each Grand Reset gives you (see 'What is the Grand Reset and how do you do it?'). It has 4 categories with 4 upgrades each — 16 total — and each upgrade levels up independently, up to level 50.

Why the tree doesn't favor any class
STATUS adds straight to your base stat — Strength, Agility, Vitality, Energy — the same one every class's damage and defense formula reads, so a point there is worth exactly the same no matter what you play.
Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Excellent Chance, Excellent Damage, Skill Damage, and Damage Reduction are already percentage points on a roll or a multiplier: they're neutral by design too, nothing extra needed.
Attack Power, Magic Power, Attack Speed, DEF, SD, and HP work differently: they don't add a flat number, they add a percentage of your own value in that stat. The reason is that these derived stats are calculated with a different divisor per class, so a flat bonus would have been worth up to 5.2x more to one class than another. As a percentage, every class gains the same proportionally to what it already has.
Why you have to choose
Each upgrade goes up to level 50, and Glory Points come in 5 at a time, one Grand Reset at a time, so this isn't something you finish fast: it's better to pick 2 or 3 upgrades that fit your build instead of spreading points thin across all of them.
Permanent, but not reassignable today
What you invest in the Grand Tree stays forever: it survives future Grand Resets, unlike ordinary stats. Points already spent on an upgrade can't be reassigned today, so plan your distribution before you invest.
