The Gemstone and Socket systems are different and use different NPCs: Gemstones are refined at Elpis (Aida) to obtain Jewel of Harmony (see the article 'Jewel of Harmony'). Seed Spheres are inserted into socket items with the Seed Master (Elbeland, 46, 243) (see 'Master Guide to the Socket System'). Get a base item with socket slots (they drop in high level maps; confirmed in Raklion via the boss Selupan — other source maps are not confirmed). There is no Gemstone system classified by color (red/blue/green/yellow) in Rex Mu. The Gemstone is a single item whose final Harmony option depends on an options table by item type (weapon/staff/armor), not on the gem's color. Osbourne is in Aida, not in Noria , and its actual function in the Chaos Machine is a 'Refine' on Excellent weapons, with no confirmed relation to Gemstones or socket bonuses. Tip: the socket options of Water – Damage Reduction (armor) and Fire/Lightning – damage (weapon) are strong candidates for PvP (see real ranges in 'Master Guide to the Socket System').
